Original 'Apple Boutique' Ladies Jacket bought in 1967 on the opening day at the Beatles 'Apple Boutique' store in London, when John and George were present. This was and still is a quality heavy embroidered (not printed) material in a colourful flower and swirls pattern on a black background with a cream/pale yellow silky lining. Size 36 (very small label at the base of the main Apple label sewn into the top). Best described as a three quarter length jacket measuring approx 27" long from the shoulder it has one front button (also covered in material) at the top and one inside hook and eye. Flared at the hips and sleeves. Condition is Excellent and would appear not to have been worn that often. The outside is just about perfect with no damage, tears, splits, fraying, marks, fading etc.......but there are two short minor pulls to some stitching along two seams to the inner lining and some light discolouration in a few areas.

This is an impossibly rare item. Original Apple Boutique clothing of any type is rare, but a jacket such as this is quite likely a unique one-off. We have researched this thoroughly and challenge anyone to find another.

Note: Comes with a letter of provenance from the original (and only) owner with a full history explaining all in great detail. She was a young American girl working in London for a record company and counted Anne Collingham (aka Mary Cockram, Beatles National Fan Club Secretary) among her close friends. She wore it for the first time at 'The Scotch of St. James' (very posh club) in London, Mayfair and has looked after it from then until now with tender loving care.

An original rubber stamp from and as used in the Beatles Apple Offices at 3 Savile Row, London circa late 1960s/early 70s.

This is an extremely rare item of Beatles Apple Memorabilia and is almost certainly a sole survivor.  In EX/NM Condition with a blue wooden handle attached to a plastic block with the full address for 3 Savile Row, London inside an apple inset within the plastic. The actual rubber stamp is connected to the underside of the plastic block and still stamps (we have tested it) and shows no signs of wear or perishing.

NOTE: Comes with a full provenance letter from the person who acquired it while working for Apple at Savile Row (she re-claimed it from the office waste disposal bin) and worked for Apple in publishing between 1967 and 1976 beginning at 94 Baker Street (above the Apple Boutique) in 1967 and finishing her career with Apple at 3 Savile Row in 1976

Unique, historically important document and exceedingly rare original 1968 Apple Boutique Order/Invoice Book used by Apple for purchasing men's clothes to be sold in the Boutique. All hand written copied through carbon paper. This would presumably be the second book as it is has the letter 'B' on the front cover. There was not a third book as the last date entered is for Friday 5th July with blank unused pages after that. The Boutique closed for business on 31st July 1968. There are a total of 23 carbon copied pages starting at Page.2 (Page.1 is missing) through to Page.30. Page.3 is unused with all three pages including the two top pages intact. Page.6 is also missing. The last page is Page.26 dated Fri 5th (this was July 1968) and was the very last order made by Apple for men's clothes. Pages.27, 28, 29 & 30 are all unused with all three pages intact with the Apple Retail Address and Phone Number hand rubber stamped in black ink at the top of the first page. Also included are the two original blue ink carbon papers. Front cover and all pages are intact. The back cover is missing.

The book contains full details of the clothes with date, type of garment (trousers, jacket etc), colour, size, quantity and the name of the manufacturer. They are all for 1968. All pages have the date but only six have the year. The book is A5 size feint lined triplicate book made in the UK by a company called Challenge. Pages are plain white paper measuring approx 8" x 5".

Excellent Condition. Guaranteed 100% authentic.
